HISTORY OF INNOVATION

In 2009, CENX started as a Carrier Ethernet Neutral Exchange. To fully serve exchange customers, software was developed in-house to automate the manual, time-consuming processes of ordering, provisioning, monitoring, and assuring data connectivity services. Eventually, the benefits of our software were recognized, and in 2012, we pivoted and became a software vendor.

CENX is a US corporation with key operations in Canada, the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Privately held, CENX solutions are deployed by global Tier 1 telecom providers, including the largest American mobile operators, Ericsson, and PCCW Global. Through its work with MEF, ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) NFV, TM Forum, and Open Networking Forum (ONF), CENX plays a leading role in defining the future of network and service operations.
